Filter Automation Effect?? On organs and synths...

I'm going crazy trying to figure out how to do this certain effect it's in alot of trap beats with either an organ or a synth playing staccato hits with a filter effect on it i just cant figure out how to do it ... if anyone knows what im talking about please help lol ... ima find a couple examples and post them...

What program are you using? In FL Studio, you can assign your VSTi or sound to a track and add Flanger or Phaser in the Effects. Just mess around with it from there. Don't limit yourself to just the presets given. Most Vsti's also have capabilities of editing the sound directly from that plugin, instead of adding effects from FL mixer. If you don't use FL Studio, then I don't know what to say then other than sorry for wasting your time. HOPE THAT HELPED!
