lol thx, i been makin beats for like 6-7 years but first 2 weeks with the mpc, been practicing alot, i mean like wake up untill i go to sleep

question. how do you lay your drums on a beat cos i can never get it right. the sounds are all over the place

i usually quantize, 1-2-3-4 the clicks (metronome) snare on 2 and 4 and kicks where u want then high hats, regulare would be first click gets 2 hats 2nd same and so on

ima try this, and does quantizing always work for you? cos i been getting an off sound and its not triggered at the right time when i quantize, thats why i prefer not to.
