Anyone still scratch records or nah

You mean using Serato or Traktor? I try not to scratch samples downloaded from youtube because of the sound quality generally not being great, but I still do it if I can't find a better version out there. An easier and better sounding way to go is to just grab a couple battle records and skip Serato/Traktor all together. That way you don't have to worry about lag or computer resources. In the end though, scratching a poor quality sample isn't nearly as bad as flipping a poor quality sample for a beat.
