What are your favorite things to automate?

I am a fan of automation as a performance, so I like to set up a whole bunch of plugin parameters (Logic/3rd Party) on my MPD's knobs and faders and set the track to Latch and go. I am looking for some good plugins/parameters to automate in this fashion and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions? My favorites right now are probably the frequency on the ring mod, reverb output/mix, delay groove/feedback/mix, frequency sweeps with filter, track volume and pan, distortion level/output... What am I missing?
 
I like having the dry increase and wet decrease (reverb) as a way of fading sounds in. This is instead of purely automating volume, but sometimes I automate all of these to create the effect it creates. Don't know what to call said effect. It just sounds more interesting.
