That would be a dotted 8th-dotted 8th-8th note combination

triplets by their nature won't align with 16ths (they are dividing the quarter note into 4 equal parts).
Without knowing your daw, I cannot say more than the following
Make sure that your note divisions triplet 8ths or triplet 16ths
If triplet 8ths then your notes start on 1st, 3rd and 5th
1--2--3--4--

If triplet 16ths then your notes start on 1st, 5th and 9th
