are there any hard snares?

I noticed it is damn near impossible to find some good snares/claps. I have TONS of drum samples, QUALITY drum samples yet it's hard as hell to find some snares to go on the 2 and 4 beats, they are either too weak, too messy/ugly sounding, I'm looking for ones that just "belong" like they hit perfectly. Anyway know where I can find some good ones?

if you want to know what I'm talking about listen to these

(Top Back) listen from 0:25 until it drops in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBvhi2a1S1I

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=db2_llpDuew at 1:53 wait for drop

note also I'm not (specifically) looking for that one, just good snares/claps for the downbeats, that pop or snap (they just sound "right") like they just fit

sounds like some 808 snares to me. try layering the snare and clap together.both of those songs sound like they have a snare and a clap layered. make sure they are in tune. trapaholics drum kit will have all the snares and claps u need

wow I never thought to change the note, that made a big difference and I came across something better when I messed up and ended up landing on 2 notes next to each other which really helped. I got something going on with it but don't stop giving advice on it if you have any, thanks for the replies

Layering always helps...
If you want it louder, have you tried a compressor?

Just try sample some hard snares yourself if you can't find any.
Looking on those royalty free sample sites, you should be able to find the ones you want.

Otherwise, Music magazines often come with good royalty free drum samples.
I buy magazines sometimes just for the samples...

That snare in the Top Back instrumental is a basic Dirty South Snare with a clap under it and the highs slightly raised with Reverb around it. You can go to several websites to find sounds like that. Tradebit gots alot of sounds like that.
