There are several ways:
- You could use any sound and sidechain it to the desired track, and then prevent this triggering sound from reaching the master, simply by routing it to nothing (most recommended).
For doing this in FL, select the channel with the triggering sound and scroll to the master (keep the current channel highlighted), and deselect the orange light with an arrow below the little knob.
- You can create your own very short sample of infrasound and use it as a trigger for sidechaining (this is how I do it). If you do this, don't forget to cut away everything below 20 Hz on the master since it can be a very heavy sound you'll need to use.
- You can use volume-envelope plugins such as Gross Beat or Love Philter to create your own artificial ducking with volume envelopes.
