    question on VST's

Does it benefit to learn all the effects within the vst's. usually I would just play about with the knobs on the Synth. But if i wanted to learn how to create a specific sound, is there any tutorials that cover this? I mean i already know what the sustain, release, attack etc.But I would like to learn all of them, but can't find any information on it. It would be nice to have a something that explains the effects in easy terms. If anyone can help please let me know.

    Cheers

It's always beneficial to know and understand the fundamentals/depths of your instrument

Experiment, Experiment, Experiment... Thats the best way to learn. I personally think an understanding of any VST you own is important, however don't bust your brain trying to master every parameter... Remember, the listener wants to feel a certain way when they listen to your tracks, let your music entertain, and evolve... All these new available VSTs being released every month will make one go CRAZY!

Thank you for your reply 1oakproduction. Yeah I definitely agree with you on the experimentation part, that's what I've been doing up until now. But I just wanted to learn some of the common parameters on the VST's so I can create the sound I want with ease. But I will never stop experimenting, That's the fun part lol
