orchestra hits reason

Hi can you give me some tips on what to layer to get them big orchestra hit sounds you find in trap i use reason 4 so i cant get any vsts at the moment the way my setup is. how would any of you who have done them in reason do it because the ones ive made dont have the power of the ones i hear so please give me some tips on how to get them and what effects to put on too if you can thanks fam
