    Old School Synth Sound.

    can someone tell me how i can recreate that synthesised sound you hear in a lot of old warren g and snoop dogg songs. i know i need to create a sine wave but i dont know what else needs to be done to get a simular sound. any help would be apreciated.

    TS404 synth on fruity loops.

    use the simsynth instead with the sine wave and the mono and portamento settings on, the portamento should be at half of maximum level

    saw wave will work too.

    Also, try putting a delay effect on it. Thats not really the old school Dre sound, but it does sound nice with it.
