i have a usb wire but when i transfer a song to my computer it always says it cant read it or open it.....and why when i transfer a sample from pc to my mpc i cant play the sample the **** just remains silent

The computer shouldn't be able to open the MPC's sequences. Save the sequence as a Standard Midi File in the MPC and then your PC's midi sequence software should be able to access those songs/sequences. I don't know what's up with your samples. They are supposed to be WAV files. Maybe your computer doesn't have a program to play WAVs.

Peace.

how do i save my song to a midi file if its already saved

and i figured out how to sample but thanx a whole lot

one more thing how do you change the pitch of a sample on a mpc 1000

I have a 3000 not a 1000, but I believe when you save, you have options as to the format you can save to. SMF or Midi file is one choice.

I don't know about the 1000, but on the 3000, you can change the pitch in the program/sounds 2nd page.

You really need to read your manual or cop a tutorial. These are basic functions that you're asking about.

Peace and good luck.
