Hey guys, I'm just started to get the hang of making beats and mixing and mastering the track, but I want to take it to the next level and actually make my leads sound professional. Right now my songs are just sub par and just have some brass/synth chord combination and typical fast pluck with flashy drums.
All I really have is purity and nexus with a couple expansions. I mostly have some decent plucks, some cheap sounding synths, and some good filtered brass synths. I'm starting to think the only I'm going to make my music sound good is if I work with the rapper and make a subpar beat and he saves it. How can I make all my instrumentals tie up together with each other like the ones I hear that got me into beat making? Some of my inspiration:
