making the Dream drums

I'm tryin to make the drums that are used in track 15 "fallin in love" on the following link:

I call them the dream drums cuz Dream uses them a ton but I don't have a clue how to recreate them. I'm mostly talkin about the snare, which sounds like hollow, or like it has water in it or somethin.

I've always loved this sound for drums but don't have a clue how to make it. can someone help me out plz?

Program some bongos or some similar percussion and flange the hell out of it...And maybe some flanged hats underneath it...I dont really know what sounds they are because of the heavy flanging effect...But the dream uses a rimshot a lot.... originally done a lot by Prince...

ya i get that whole water thing your talkin bout, as Axxe said you will get that affect with flanging
