    Ummmm, not sure what you mean here, as they are shown above with the correct Roman numeral sequences and formatting.

    Harmonic progressions are what you would use if you trying to truly show minor key progression.

    Melodic minor is more of a jazz orientation, as this is used for a lot of jazz works written in the minor, hence it's alternate name of of Jazz Minor.....

    Thanks BC, I understand the progression and how the cycle works.
    However is was just wondering what makes a scale melodic and what makes it harmonic.
    I was thinking the melodic scale for example, would be a good scale to used when building a melody, the notes within the scale give off a melodic feel?
    I could be totally wrong, maybe I'm thinking too hard lol

    Melodic & Harmonic Minor.. A Melodic Minor scale is simply a major scale with a flatted 3rd when it's ascending & a Natural Minor Scale when descending. A Harmonic Minor scale is just a Natural Minor scale with the raised 7th, to make it a half-step away from Tonic. Here's some formulas you could use to figure out the scales using the major scales....

    Natural Minor
    1 - 2 - b3 - 4 - 5 - b6 - b7

    Harmonic Minor
    1 - 2 - b3 - 4 - 5 - b6 - 7

    Melodic Minor Ascending
    1 - 2 - b3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7
    Melodic Minor Descending (Natural Minor)
    1 - 2 - b3 - 4 - 5 - b6 - b7

    If you were using melodic minor what key would you technically be in major wise or is it not even like that. Like if i was making a song in natural c minor would also be in e flat major, but with c melodic would you just be in the minor in a sense.

    nope rel major is still Eb but it is an altered Eb because of the altered tones in the ascending version of the melodic minor:

    Eb-F-G-Ab-A-Bb-B-C-D-Eb

    adds a kind of blues scale feel to it
