How to use a synth sample pack

I got this sample pack of some synth one shot sounds. Ive never used these before but some of the sounds are pretty good. But I dont know how to use them properly. I usually just play straight from a VST. How do you know what notes are played in the sample, surely the samples will stretch/speed up when played higher or lower!?

Its ok, I remembered, easier than I thought.
 
I just loaded it in NNXT (reason), I thought you had to map it all out yourself but it does it for you. The only problem is it stretches/squashes the sound if you go too low/high. Might try looping it.
