You should work on developing your own sound. That sound won't last forever. So create something new that you may be able to actually profit from. You might sell a few beats to a few artists here and there but no one in the industry will reach out to you for a "drake type beat" because they can go to Noah "40" Shebib for that sound. Don't waste your time trying to figure out someone else's style, it's a waste. Just some advice. If you just want to make those types of beats with no intent to sell them or gain any exposure then by all means have fun.
I feel like learning to make a drake type beat or a insert name here type beat is good practice and eventually you will have your own spin on said beat if you're composing from the head.
