How was the effect on these drums achieved? Phaser on drum bus?

Whats going one everyone. I heard this and have realized i've never created this effect and am unclear on how to do it.

Example: MP3 Player SoundClick

The drums at the beginning sound like they are being phased, but the drums still sound EXTREMELY clear, the phase is only an effect that in synch with the drums as if it its 'Own Sound' instead of being an effect on the drum bus, if that makes sense. Anyone know how this was achieved? All help is appreciated!

Phaser on the drums, maybe on an aux & setting the send level (or dry/wet if an insert) to taste.
