I noticed in alot of Trap beats there will be insane Drum Fill spots to start the next measure. Like when the snares play like a million times in one bar lol my question is though, I noticed alot of trap and down south beats have this kinda "drag" effect to the drums, like they're purposely being played off beat. No matter what I do, I can't successful mimic this and get the same rhythm down. im used to making more of Orchestra like Beats and R&B or pop, so im still trying to master this genre being it sells to the general public the most. Any tips or ways to achieve this? I use FL studio to sequence my drums. I also use a midi keyboard when necessary.

Try bumping your BMP up to 135 or 140...

And those are snare rolls and hat rolls, pretty easy to do...

Double time will definitely help and yeah those rolls literally take 2 seconds with the Piano Roll Chopper lol.
