How to do this Bass slide effect?

I've been trying to get this drop effect on hypersonic 2. I know that you use a modulator to modulate the pitch and then raise the attack in the envelope. But in hypersonic 2 it uses a modulate matrix. I used modulate envelope as the source and then pitch for the source. I used my pitch wheel to control the pitch to pitch bend the sound and its still not working. The sound I'm going for is in this video:

It sounds like you have the idea. Try simplifying when all else fails. Just a basic octave or two pitch drop over the length of the sound can be all you need to find what you're looking for.
 
1) it is a bass guitar

2) the slide down is 7 frets

3) the slide up is 1 or 2 frets (scale dependent)

4) do not use pitch bend to do this but portamento MIDI cc5 (time), 65(on-off), 84(start - overrides 65)
