How can I replicate this lazy-whiny pitch bend lead?

Hey all,

I've been trying to figure out how to make a lead similar to this lead in this remix by Milo & Otis:


I like that is kind of swings and moves so lazily but cleanly. How are they automating the notes to get it to do that? Like the little delays and what not?

The pitchbend is a portamento, and it's probably controlled by perhaps the velocity in the step sequencer.
I think it's a standard sawwave that's highpassed with a mild boost at maybe 3-4 kHz on an EQ.
Then to get the low notes they have probably recorded it and pitched it down an octave while maintaining the tempo.
Then add a dash of airy reverb.
