How can i make this sound?

it comes in at :32

its like a low-end heavy synth with some distortion on it....i think?

or is it a bass with high mids?

anyway...does anyone know how to achieve this sound?

I don't know exactly what the low-end sound is; I can hear it, but not with a lot of definition (I'm listening on some crappy little Dell computer speakers right now).

But it sounds like the low-end synth/tone/what-have-you is keyed to the bass drum, maybe, like they used to do back in the day (side-chain compressed so that everytime the bass drum hits, a low end sinewave or other tone kicks at the same time; kind of like a "Super 808"/"Humkick"). It's the opposite of the side-chain trick a lot of people use now, where everything moves out of the way of the bass drum. Which, by the way,. I think I can hear some of that somewhere too, because even before the drums come in, there's a lot of "pumping" going on...

Yeah, that's it BC-- gate, or gate function on a compressor.
It's been a few decades. I'm not sure what DAW you're using, but try this article re: Logic...

Sounds like a very lowpassed saw-wave playing at a low octave, barely 2 harmonics left I would guess.

also a multi level adsr - more like ADSDSDSR - several different decay and sustain points simpler to implement than a pumping compressor/gate-like fx.

There is no resonance on the filter either.
