help with logic pro x drums

okay, so i just switched over from reason to logic and im playing around.. thats usually how i learn shit. and i have a little experience from garageband
the only thing is, the drums in logic(808 kit etc.) are soo ****in weak
like the snares are dookie
what do i open to edit these drums and tweak the **** outt of them.. and please dont tell me that little drum editor at the bottom

y I download a lot of kits cuz a lot of logics drums sound kinda computery to me. But if you mean to put effects on them click on the "i" in the upper left and you can add effects on them

also, is it possible to record over a loop you made instead of making two different tracks ?

Get yourself some better samples instead of using factory kits. trust.

using a drum machine, but i wanna use something or anything similar to the exs24

You can do a lot of tweaking in ultrabeat. You can also do some in the exs.

I use the esx24 sampler and throw my own drum samples in there, then eq each drum sample the way i need it, that seems to work the best for me.

The Factory Drums from Logic sound just fine to me. But I'm loading them into Reason, lol. Does the Ultrabeat module add effects to them that makes them sound thinner?
