help with g funk sounds

Well for starters try to at least get a rhodes Piano, a nice whistle synth (low pitch) and some realistic drums and a smooooth bassline

I think Gfunk is hard to do because there's many elements in a gfunk song: wah, funk bass, whistle, a lot of FX...

but yeah as it has been said having a rhodes, whistle can be a good start.

i've got that one, and all i can say is that it's pretty dope. I can only suggest you that one as far as i am concerned.

there are many presets that you still modify and so you cab use that vst in different kind of song (gfunk, jazz, rnb,funk......)

can you name any presets on there and do i have to tweak them and if so how would i do it any info on that.

As far as the whistle, check out the VST "The Shephard". I can't believe nobody has mentioned this yet, because not only does it provide an ideal whistle tone sound in such a small VST, but it's freeware.

I don't have enough posts to embed links yet, but just do a simple Google search for: "the shephard" free vst
It should be the very first link that comes up.

Enjoy, and good luck!
