    Fading-in Snare

    Hey people,
    what's up?

Because i can't post links, i'm just going to tell you the music example: Foreign Beggars - Still getting it (feat. Skrillex)

So Pretty Simple Question: The Second time the snare is played, it's somehow faded-in and/or played in reverse. So is there an easier way to do it, than record the snare and play it backwards? I actually am not sure how this technique is called, so i don't know what to search for. But if somebody knows an easier way (or specific for FL Studio) please tell me. I would also approve of the name of this technique and maybe a video tutorial, but this is not really necessary. If i know the name of this technique, i can do it myself actually.

    Thx for the help

Dunno about FL, but most DAWs have a reverse feature - usually not more complex than just pushing the "reverse" button. Not sure if it's getting any easier unless you invent predictive brain control.

It's actually a little more than that, like a reversed snare build up, they cut off the end though and then paste an actual snare hit onto the end of that.

Theres kits out there that have snares with the little build up already built in, just gotta adjust the timing. Shortening up a snare, reversing it and then time stretching it in FL Studio would probably be easier tho.
