    Extremely stereo sounding bass-lines

Hey guys I've been wondering for ages how to make super stereo sounding bass-lines like in the songs below:

    beatport.com/track/beautiful-sunrise-feat-ak-quentin-harris-reproduction/597104

    youtube.com/watch?v=r3Cg1wxgX6M

I've experimented with separating the high and lower bass content and putting a phaser on the higher content but that did not sound like the bass I'm aiming for. I'm hoping one of you guys can help me out.

    Many thanks in advance!

    Kind regards

its not in the phaser or effects.

use a stereo spread plug in. it can be used as an effect i guess. but you can choose which frequencies to spread creating an image.

That is wrong, dont ever use stereo enhancers on bass, bass should be mono at all times no matter of what song it is.

There are two techniques i use to make my bass have a more stereo feel to it. First method is applying a chorus plugin, works almost every time ... if not then id use the second method which is adding some low mid-range bass to the sub frequencies, and you can add some stereo enhancers on the low mids as long as the sub bass is in mono.

ya, stereo spreader, just don't spread the really low freqs out and dominate the stereo field. u can always make a duplicate track and put a chorus effect on the copy so u can control the eq and volume of the spread track separately. do what your heart tells you sir.
