Effect/Instrument used in the following tracks.

Does anybody know the effect or Instrument used in making the lead melody in these tracks?
(Willow Smith - Fireball)
(Chris Brown - AWOL)
(Jacob Latimore - Nothing On Me)


They all appear to be similar and listening closely it seems like its a talkbox but i wanted to get the opinion of other producers.

not a talk-box

a simple sawtooth in one OSC with an overlay of pulse-width modulated in another OSC an octave up and moving between 65% and 95% duty cycle.

Filters are all tweaked to remove most of the low end (so using a hpf at some point in the processing chain) whilst still using a modulated lpf with a soupçon of resonance

no talk-box at all
