Can anyone identify the source of this bass sound?

I'm listening to this song and I'm impressed by the bass in it. I frequently use the Total Bass Module preset in Spectrasonics Trilogy to create 808 sounding basslines, but I can't tell if they're using 808 drums or a synth instrument to create this bassline. Do you think it's just pitched 808 samples or a synth? Or is it possible that they're playing a synth that is changing notes, and they're also using 808 samples that stay in the same pitch at the same time?

I'm lost...

nah homie thats a low brass and an 808...matter of fact i think i have that 808 well if is not the same i could def eq it and it would be the same....

use a sine wave on a low octave and add very slight lfo on the pitch thats set to restart everytime you press a key. then eq it to fix the low end
