Brass Effects

What do you guys put on your brass for effects to make it sound maybe a little smoother and mesh better? Filters, eq anything.

light, almost imperceptible reverb, some simple delay low feedback

find samples with various mutes if I really want to change the sound dramatically

Varying velocity, and one thing I tried a couple years ago when I had worse brass samples was automating the pitch up and down 10 cents, just randomly. To me, it had a more human feel that way.
