Hey, eye was wondering if anyone knew how to get the Stutter Pitch effect Big Sean and others have abused more recently.. Just out of curiosity.. Eye first heard it on "Mercy" (at 1:18) and now i've heard multiple mainstream artists use it and wanna be mainstream producers/artists use it..

You could just loop that part of the voice and change the pitch and jump the panning from one side to another simply by using automation.
You loop it quite fast so I guess you shouldn't be able to hear that the vocal part is increasing in speed too as you pitch down/up.
Just a guess though, I haven't tried it myself.

Soooo easy. Just chop up the vocal (copy and paste), and apply a pitch shift on the chops. If you're going up, then pitch is down less and less and you move forward, if you're going for a down pitch effect then do the opposite. simple.
