G Gluee New member Nov 4, 2010 #2 If you are talking about drums samples, well it's pretty basic here : Layer, EQ, Compress, add different effects. As far as drum programming , just do what fits the beat. I could help more if you describe genre you are making beats in. BoomBap , South, Westcoast?

njm255 Active member Nov 4, 2010 #5 Your first problem is that your samples and your drums are at different tempos. Once you fix that I would suggest starting with a basic pattern: kick(bass drum) on the first and third beats Snare(clap) on the second and fourth beats
