But when i use Logic 9 if i ever want to slide from one note to another i just use portamento/glide on the synths if it's available. Portamento is not available on all of Logic 9s stock since, but on the majority.
Yes there is. If you load your bass into the EXS24 you can play with the glide and pitch settings until you get it how you want it. This guy kind of goes into how to do it.
