Hey what's good FB...

Im working on a new song and the only problem is finding a certain kind of bassline to make it sound right...

there's two songs with either the same or very similar bassline..

1. Is this beat with styles p called shoot n***as-youtube dot com slash watch ? v=xjoaEvWxSi4&feature

2.and this trance song called whistling dave by scooter the bass starts @ 56 seconds www dot youtube dot com slash watch ? v=FuBUe0p9lbY

diff styles of music but similar basses if anybody has any info on how that type of bassline is done i'd greatly appreciate it and b.t.w im using Reason 4 if any one should ask...

Its a brass bass with a sub underneath it. Good brass patches are hard to find on reason, might wanna use samples but yea thats what it is.Sounds like a trumbone, french horn, and maybe a tuba

Yeah the problem is reason. You gotta be able to have plugins that let you get away from the early 2000 limited hip hop sound
