hey, all
lately i've really been admiring the strange sort of sounds in some basement jaxx tracks- one in particular has me both interested and baffled. In the song "good luck", at the very end of the track, they do something crazy with a tonal sound (like brass in an acid trip)- it sounds like a pitch bent sample through distortion... its also at the beginning of the tim deluxe funked club mix of the same track.
I'd love to know more of what this is...and if you have any clue to any other cool tricks they do, please feel free to share the wealth!
