I just got a new MPK49. Never really had a dedicated midi keyboard. I use to use a MOTIF and a Roland synth to record -- mostly non-midi loops that i would create. I moved the external synths to where our band practices so I figured I would try and go all software.
If any of you guys use a MPK49 with Ableton Live 8, what is your composing process? do you use instruments other than what comes with the live bundle? What is your go to software instrument?
