Hello everyone, I have a question for you experienced producers and would like your advice. My name is VinteK and I am fairly new to producing music. The primary genres that I am into are House and Techno music. So here is the story/question... I have a track that I have been working on and it's a housy type track, which pretty much means that it would 4/4 time. So I started the track in 4/4 as usual and the drums and some melody's are in that time signature as well, but the bassline and the other half of the melodies are in 6/4 timing. This is making it very difficult to build the track in a fashion that makes any sense. My question is, before I start over or rebuild the song, is there any advice on weather I should use a 4/4 grid or 6/4 grid? Is it even possible to use both riffs???
