Where to get vocal chants?

I could not hear a vocal chant in the first one

in the second one at about 1:55 we start to hear a choir singing unison and octave mmm's and aah's and oh's and ooh's moving up by step from b6-b7-8 (1) which is simply the root movement of the chord progression bVI-bVII-i

i.e. getting chants like these is nothing more than simply writing the lines you want using sample choirs like the one included in the kontakt factory library or getting friendly with local choir and it's director and occasionally go in and record them doing certain lines for you
 
Not sure what they run those vocal shots through.
But the one in the first video sounds like this one @9:23 with the "s" part probably cut and pitched.



Edit: After playing around with it. I got a similar effect just using distortion and reverb.
