I really love the sound of the open hi hats used in the intro of this beat and the like.
I've browsed through every single open hat in the Addictive Drums 2 VST and only found one that's similar, from the "Reel Kit". If anybody can shine some light on what you think the producer did in terms of processing to achieve this type of sound, it may seem like "just a high hat sample" but it sounds a lot dirtier than most I can find, and am not sure how to get the sound i'm looking for.
I hear it often in a lot of "cypher" type beats if that helps narrow it down at all
