Where Can I Learn Sound Design?

Hello everyone. I'm just barely starting to gain an interest in sound design.

I just became aware of all these different synthesis techniques like AM, FM, Additive, Subtractive, RM and Its a pain because I can't find any sources on these aside from the basic subtractive synthesis.

Where can I learn about all this stuff?

the computer music tutorial by curtis roads is as good a place as any to start, might get it cheaper by looking at abes books

Yeah the computer music magazine is quite good too. Might be worth popping downtown and buying an issue.

Youtube is a mixed bag, but can be very helpful sometimes.

Or you can learn through presets inside the synths. Take notes along the way, so you don't get lost.
