What sound is this percussion? bassline?

Wuz really good FP FAMILY. How can I achieve in getting this sound from these two songs? I really am not sure what it is? Sounds like a percussion, or maybe a bassline.

Asia Cruise - Selfish

The percussion sound in the first song Asia Cruise "Selfish" comes in around 47-48 seconds sounds like two congos and goes on throughout the whole song.

Usher - I Can't Win

The percussion or bassline in the second song Usher "I Can't Win" comes in around 15-16 seconds.

Hopefully someone knows how to get that sound, or knows how to acheive in getting that sound. Also what exactly is it a percussion or bassline.

sounds to me like a low or mid tom, i have a sample almost the same as it

It sounds like a bongo type sound from a Roland CR76. Maybe CR78 but sounds more 76ish to me.
