    What makes a sound "warble"...

    ...for lack of a battler term. Similar to a wah wah pedal I guess? You hear it all the time in electronic music and it often sounds automated to speed up or slow down.

    What's the best way to simulate or create this effect? Is it a matter of automating a frequency filter?

    Anyone know?

    Yep, usually automating the filter (or using a LFO, if you want constant modulation).

    I'll do some research on an LFO. What's the official term for what I'm describing?
