what kind of synth is this?

at 0:12, it sounds like a little "crying" synth. I have no idea what it is or how to get it? Anyone have any ideas?

do you know which sound patches I should try?

it sounds like... a sine wave.

more a triangle with a little sustained vibrato (pitch is modulated by an lfo running at about 10hz) - there are three notes in most places it is used, eg C-B-C (these are not the notes, just an example) it is always note, down, note what is called a mordent or lower neighbour tone......

quick attacks, quick decay, high sustain level and a relatively quick release -keyboard tracking on the filter and the lfo is also moderately modulating the filter cutoff as well
