What is this instruments? Guitar? Organ? Some kind of keyboard sound?

It's very prominent at the beginning of this video. I can hear some jazz rhythm guitar behind it and the drums. It sounds like it's flanging in and out. It sounds very much like some kind of organ but not really. I here it around here and there and never can figure out exactly what it is. Is it some kind of Organ? Guitar effect? Any ideas?

I've looked into it more and it seems like it's a guitar playing chords on the higher notes of the neck. Maybe there's some kind of pedal involved. But I'd still like to be sure.

What you're hearing is indeed drums and a guitar playing chords high up the neck with an added flanger.
Other than that there are no pedals or other instruments involved.
