What instrument or synth is used for the background chords in these songs? They all sound very similar but i have no clue what they are if they are a synth pad or instrument or what

My first guess would be an electric piano or rhodes piano. Search your VST collection for one. Or maybe recreate a similar sound in Sylenth1 (search Youtube for "Sylenth1 Rhodes")
