VST plugins

Ok so I'm just wondering which VST's should I look into that can generate great sounds geared towards trance and trap music

This thread belongs in the VST section.
Almost all synths can generate some sounds of those genres. Most vsts aren't genre specific.

Are you planning on designing your own sounds or using presets?

Well, reFX Nexus has decent leads or plucked synths for trance I think.
For trap I think NI Massive is one of the most preferred ones.
