Which vocal effect? And how do you make that synth

I fell in love with this track and now i have two questions for the experts!



1.
What kind of effect is used on the vocals to make them distorted? (From 0:11 and throughout)

2.
What is this saw-synth called and do you create something like that? (3:07)

sounds like bitcrushing and high pass filtering on the vocals all through a short reverb

as for the saw

two saw waves
detune the first +3 cents, detune the second -2 cents
adsr is about 1-3-6-3
almost no filter and definitely no resonance

Isn't the vocal effect combined with an electric guitar?
My guess is that they have a sample of a clean electric guitar, then they have sent it together with a vocal sample to a guitar amp plugin/guitar pedal plugin.
Or they may have done this using real hardware guitar amp and/or guitar pedals.

With that sound at 3:07, do you mean the one panned hard left then right? Sounds more like a looping sample to me, with a boosted peak on the EQ somewhere around 2-5 kHz, then some smooth distortion, it kind of reminds me of that common effect you have on delays sometimes, with a distorted resonance (but more smooth this time).
