I'm currently working on a song which is using some neosoul chords I found. These chords uses between 5 and 6 notes each.
So I found that progression very catchy, but have some troubles spice it up with variations and instrumentate it properly.
The first thing I did was looking for the scales used by my chords. And it happens to uses 10 notes in the progression, which tends to make the issue bigger.
I'm don't really understand how jazz scales and complex harmony works and how progress into my tracks, but I really want to. Any chance people here already manage these domains ?
