I've been trying to make these sub heavy old school bass sounds for a while now and keep ending up with repulsively bright massive patches.
I have a feeling the sounds are made with FM synthesis primarily, can anyone confirm that to be likely? Any information would be greatly appreciated especially if anyone can link me to some sort of tutorial as I have never used any FM synths before.
