Trap Music Snare Grid Placement...???

In both edm and hip hop style trap music...Is the snare placed on the 3rd or 4th beat of the bar/measure...?

Is the snare placement dependent on the BPM you are working in, for example...140 vs 70...?

depends on the bpm, if you're going for a more standard sounding drum beat, it'll be on beats 2 and 4 if you're at 70 bpm. If you're at 140 bpm it'll be on beat 3... hope that helps get you going

1/16, 1/8, 1/8t, 1/32, 1/4, 1/4t
