Are you sure you are fully registered?? If so you should be up to version 3.01 and then the answer to your question is extremely easy. As far as I know you can only make a long drone sound by using a looped sample or a really long sample of a drone. Anyway, go get V.3.01 it is way easier and a lot less limited than the old Floops.
