Hi! I was wondering if anyone knew the synths and instruments used by artist such as Toro y Moi and Kaytranada. Specifically, Toro y Moi's new album Boo Boo has two songs in Girl Like You and Mirage that have great instrumentation. For Girl Like You, I was wondering how he created the beginning chord progression and the bass which seems like a real live instrument. With Mirage, the beginning sound is quite amazing and then the song progresses into an old school 90's R&B and soul sound reminding me of old Sade. In regards to Kaytranada I was wondering how he creates his synth bass for example in Glowed Up the wide stereo sounding bass. As well as his some of his unique sounding synths in songs like You're th One and Glowed Up.
